1999

RSG Global (Australia) opens an office in Johannesburg to establish a footprint on the African continent. They help to set the benchmark for consultants in the mining industry in Southern Africa and are revered for technical excellence.

2004

Ken Lomberg, a Resource Geologist, joins RSG Global and starts to build their geology and mineral resource estimation capability in Southern Africa.

2006

RSG Global (Australia) is purchased by Coffey International Ltd and Coffey Mining South Africa Pty Ltd is registered. They continue with and build on the RSG Global legacy.

2008

Jared Draper joins Coffey Mining SA as Financial Manager.

2010

Hannes Bornman, an experienced Mining Engineer, joins the company as Manager Mining and expands their technical capability.

January 2016

Tetra Tech buys Coffey International. They delist it from the Australian Stock Exchange and decide not to pursue their interests in South Africa.

August 2016

Coffey Mining SA changes ownership.

October 2016

Jared Draper, Ken Lomberg and Hannes Bornman are appointed as the new management team.

January 2017

Coffey Mining SA changes its name to PIVOT Mining Consultants.  The new management team continues to add value to their clients by pushing the boundaries of technical excellence.
